The Eiffel Tower Experience in Las Vegas
One of the iconic buildings you’ll see in Vegas is the replica of France’s Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel on the Vegas strip. If you want, you can go up the 460-foot tower and get incredible views of the Vegas strip. We were told that you have to do this at least once if you’re in Vegas, so since we were staying at the Paris hotel, we thought why not get the full experience!
We debated whether or not we should do the daytime or nighttime experience. Daytime experience is $14 and nighttime is $19. We decided to go with the night experience and do the day time view at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant.
We lined up at the box office around 10:30pm and waited in the line for about 30 minutes. When we got up to the register, they told us that it would be another 30-minute wait once we got to the elevators. We did not want to waste anymore time since we wanted to catch the Bellagio fountain show a couple times before it ended at midnight, so we chose to get the express pass, which was an extra $10. It was worth it, in our opinion, because we zipped by the regular line of about 50 people and hopped right into the elevator.
The elevator ride up takes about 30 seconds and you see the outside of the Las Vegas strip while you are going up. The Eiffel Tower in Vegas is half the size of the real Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, but it still felt incredibly high up there! Can’t imagine being 1,000 feet up on the deck at the real one!
Once you get up to the deck, you’ll see stunning 360-degree views of the Las Vegas strip. Everything looks so peaceful up there compared to the chaos that goes on down in the streets. All the city lights were beautiful and we got an incredible view of the Bellagio fountain show. The deck is caged, but there are tiny box openings to put your camera lens through for a good picture. If you have big, fancy lenses, this won’t work for you.
Overall, we had a lovely experience! Next time, I might brave the High Roller, which is the Ferris wheel that goes 550 feet high and takes 30 minutes to complete. I’m a bit scared of Ferris wheels, so I’ll see if my fear gets any better the next time I’m in Vegas!
