We love brunch and Tampa has plenty of spots to choose from including Oxford Exchange, Sono Cafe, Ella's Cafe, and more. Sometimes we like to splurge a little and have brunch at the fancy Elevage.

Elevage is located inside the Epicurean hotel, one of the more upscale hotels in Tampa. Actually, this is the only upscale hotel in the Hyde Park area. Most Tampa hotels are located near downtown or by the airport. We've never stayed at the Epicurean, but I imagine it's quite fancy like the rest of the hotel.

Parking in this area is hard to find and most restaurants provide valet service with a fee. Luckily, during the day, the valet service is free. After 5pm, they charge $5.

So, back to Elevage. We love this place! Right when you walk in, you're amazed at how gorgeous everything is. They did an outstanding job decorating the space with fun tiles, dark wooden tables, bold chairs and ropes tied around on the ceiling and lights. There's large windows by the tables letting lots of natural light into the restaurant.

We started out with some coffee and a Bloody Mary while we looked over our choices on the brunch menu. I love that restaurants lately are putting their own twists on their Bloody Mary cocktails and infuse them with so much flavor. Plus, nowadays, it comes with tons of garnishes like bacon and ribs!

There was so many interesting items to choose from, but I think we did a pretty good job choosing our entrees. We went with the full course brunch including Frittata, Eggs Benedict and Artisanal Cheese Plate along with the Epicurean Omelette and Brioche French Toast. Every dish had a great presentation and it was truly amazing! We savored every last bite.

Have to note that the service was top notch as well. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything. We casually mentioned that we wanted to take some pictures of the rooftop bar and the next minute, the manager was at our table trying to arrange something for us. We didn't want to bother the bridal shower party that was going on up there, so we told them that we would come back another time. So nice of them to even try!
