You Can Still Pack Those Maxi Dresses for Fall Travel

Fall is here and before you start putting away your summer clothes, remember to keep out those maxi dresses. Or if you're like me, you'll start to hit up the "end of the season" sales for those deals! Dresses are great for travel because they're easy to pack and they can be casual and fancy.

Maxi dresses are a great transitional piece and they are great to take on trips. I try to pack at least one maxi dress with me when traveling. They don't take up much space and they can easily be layered. Just throw on a jacket, tights, and some boots and voila!, Fall wardrobe.

A few tips :

* Avoid maxi dresses with kimono sleeves. It's hard to wear a jacket over them.

* Wear a cropped jacket to show off your waist. It always makes your legs look longer.

* If you want to show off your booties, consider a maxi that is a little bit shorter.
