We’ve added several Amazon Fashion brands to our wardrobe this past year for our travels and everyday wear. We thought it would be a good time to review the fit, size, comfort, and overall quality of the garments.

The Drop

Amazon launched The Drop a little over a year ago and it’s one of our favorite places to find trending styles. These capsule collections are created by fashion influencers around the world and each collection is available to shop for a limited time. After the shopping window closes, you can still shop many of their fashion-forward basics from Staples by The Drop, which are the pieces we have in our closet. The absolute best part about The Drop is that everything is priced under $100.

Annabelle Long-Sleeve Pullover

This cozy French terry is made with a hint of stretch and is the perfect length and fit. There are a ton of ill-fitted sweatshirts out there so we were pleasantly surprised at how well this one was designed. It wasn’t too baggy in the arms and the waist length is perfect to pair with your favorite leggings. Crystal liked the black one I was wearing so much that she ended up getting one herself in ivory.

Linen Midi Shirt Dress

I normally like to wear dresses that are fitted, so this oversized 100% linen dress was an unusual addition to my wardrobe. At first, I wasn’t a huge fan of the loose fit, but it started to grow on me. The fabric is very strong and absorbent and the design can easily be dressed up or down. I ended up packing this dress on my recent road trip across the US and wore it several times.

Downtown Cropped Cutoff Denim Jacket

This denim jacket has a comfortable stretch and the frayed hem gives it a laid-back look, but it can still be dressed up as well. Crystal pairs this jacket with her athleisure wear and dresses. It has become a staple piece in her closet and she never leaves without it on her travels.

Core 10

Core 10 is Amazon’s active and athleisure wear, and just like other brands in this industry, they have an extensive collection: Training, Yoga, Performance Run, Lounge, All Day Comfort, etc.

Leopard Jacquard High Waist Leggings

I adore the leopard print pattern on these ⅞ cropped leggings and the material feels fantastic. However, there are a couple of features these leggings could improve on. One, they are advertised as high waist, but I personally think they are more of a mid-rise. Two, the leggings don’t stay put and I find myself constantly pulling these up.

The Warrior Mesh Legging

These leggings are a soft moisture-wicking fabric and have stylish asymmetrical mesh panels wrapped around the legs. It takes an ordinary pair of black leggings and gives it some pizazz. We have seen these styles of leggings from many brands and Amazon does a great job with its fit and flexibility. And it’s very affordable. There’s also a convenient small pocket in the back to store your keys or cash.

Daily Ritual

If you are looking for chic yet effortless staples in your wardrobe, Daily Ritual is a great place to start. Their collection carries styles that you will wear over and over again.

Super Soft Terry Long-Sleeve Hooded Pullover

If you’re looking for a cozy sweatshirt for lounging or for everyday wear, this is the perfect hooded top. It’s also great to wear on those freezing airplanes because it keeps you so warm with the super soft fabric they use. It pairs nicely with the Warrior Mesh Leggings too!

Meraki

Meraki designs minimalist and timeless pieces that will basically create your ultimate capsule wardrobe. If you’re looking for those basic chino pants or a simple crew neck sweater, Meraki has got all the closet essentials.

Relaxed Fit Tie Front Midi Dress

Crystal already had a dress similar to this one and loved it so much that she decided to get another version of it from Amazon since it had rave reviews. She loved the fit of this dress way more than the one she originally had (which cost significantly more) and wears it all the time now.

This dress contours the body nicely and you can tie the string either in the front or back. We prefer the front as it cinches the waist and gives you legs for days! Throw on the Downtown Cropped Cutoff Denim Jacket and you got yourself a cozy Fall outfit.

AURIQUE

Aurique’s collection encompasses an array of activewear for the individual who embraces life’s busy schedule in style. The designs are sleek and the sizing runs a little small so make sure to size up when you place your order.

High Waisted Sculpt Sports Leggings

These leggings are full length. I just have them rolled up.

These super high waisted leggings were exactly what I was looking for. They sit above the belly button and the wideband holds everything in place. The material is thick so they are definitely squat proof and the leggings stay in place all day. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they make more of these leggings in solid colors.

Non-Amazon Labels

This category isn’t Amazon-specific brands, but they are brands we have only been able to find on Amazon.

Oversized Plaid Blanket Winter Scarf

This wrap was fantastic for our Banff National Park trip as it was an awesome layering piece and it’s also a great travel item in general. It comes in handy in so many ways like using it as a blanket on cold flights and using it as a scarf to add that extra stylish element. The fabric is also very soft and you feel super cozy with this oversized wrap. The best part is that it comes at a great price at just under $12.

Levaca Cowl Neck Casual Sweatshirts Tunic Top with Pockets

This was another favorite fashion find from Amazon that was very comfy and warm for Banff. It’s made of 50% cotton, 45% polyester, and 5% Spandex, so it’s super soft and stretchy. It’s loose-fitting, which Crystal usually likes, and it came with two cute pockets in the front. She used this to hold her camera lens when she was taking pictures.

Final Thoughts

Amazon has made great strides to improve its fashion department and we think it’s starting to pay off. Two years ago, Amazon was never really at the top of our list for online shopping and now it’s one of the places we check often. When Amazon launched Prime Wardrobe, it took the online shopping experience to another level.
