We have been traveling on the road a lot this summer and have accumulated some great travel luggage and organizers for our road trips. There are a lot more travelers road-tripping this year, so we thought it was time to share some of the best travel gear for 2021 and beyond.

Here are our top favorite travel luggage and organizers that we personally use on all of our road trips and they each have great features that are useful for traveling.

We have been a fan of Away suitcases for years and it’s our top go-to luggage for air travel and road trips. If you need more luggage space, but don’t want to go too big, Away’s medium suitcase is the perfect fit. We use this suitcase on trips that are more than a week. Just like their other suitcases, it has the 360 spinner wheels to ensure a smooth ride and includes their signature interior compression system. Note that The Medium does not include a removable battery.

Away - The Expandable Carry-On

Away recently came out with the Expandable Carry-On and Crystal instantly fell in love with it. She’s obsessed with her Away Bigger Carry-On, but it was missing that front-pocket where you could store your toiletries, laptop, and other miscellaneous things that you need right away without having to completely open the suitcase… and now she can do that with the Expandable Carry-On suitcase! Plus, as the name suggests, it expands, so it can be used as a small suitcase or bigger suitcase.

Lo & Sons - The Catalina Deluxe

Lo & Sons always make great travel products and The Catalina Deluxe is one of our favorites. It’s extremely versatile, durable, and made with high-quality materials (available in eco-friendly sustainable materials as well). Two features we love about this bag is the bottom pocket and the pass through-sleeve. The bottom zipper pocket is separated to store your extra pair of shoes, toiletries, or dirty clothes. The back panel pass-through sleeve allows you to slide the Catalina Deluxe over suitcase handles for seamless travel.

Vessel - Signature 2.0 Boston

If you want a bigger duffel bag with more structure, The Vessel Signature 2.0 Boston will be your best fit. Crystal uses this bag to pack more of her valuables like her camera gear so that it has more protection. This duffel bag also features a breathable, bottom compartment ideal for storing shoes, toiletries, or any travel essentials you need to keep separate. Plus, it’s dual-purpose, exterior, zip pocket doubles as a trolley sleeve for easy stack-ability on any rolling luggage. They really do a great job with their thoughtful organization in this bag.

Pacsafe Citysafe CX Anti-Theft Backpack 17L

This is our ultimate go-to bag for all of our travels. We seriously take this thing everywhere with us because of its versatility and durability. We usually pack the essentials that we’ll need while we’re in the car traveling into this bag like our snacks, sunglasses, camera, selfie sticks, medications, water, and more. There’s also a padded sleeve for your laptop or iPad. Our favorite features on this backpack are the two pockets on the exterior for your water bottle and the luggage sleeve to place on top of your suitcase for easy transport.

Pacsafe Citysafe CX Anti-Theft Packable Horizontal Tote

This is one of our newest additions to our travel luggage and it’s another one of our favorites. Crystal often uses it for her camera gear and/or Kuma’s dog supplies. Like all Pacsafe products, it is well-made and we love that it comes with a luggage sleeve as well because that camera gear can get pretty heavy. The tote is also packable, so you can fold it and put it away in your suitcase if you’re not using it.

Away - The Centerfold Garment Sleeve

Designed to fit perfectly inside The Carry-On suitcase, it zips open vertically and keeps everything inside organized and wrinkle-free.

Cable Organizer

This organizer is perfect for traveling and keeps all your cables organized in separate compartments to find your cables easily. You can pack your cables, USB drives, chargers, and other accessories.

Hanging Toiletry Bag

Having a hanging toiletry bag is essential for traveling since hotel bathrooms are often limited with space; especially if you are sharing a bathroom with two people. Zipper closures and clear compartments are also key so that your belongings stay in place and you can locate your products more easily.

VESSEL Signature 2.0 Toiletry

Another version of a hanging toiletry bag that is a little more compact and made with micro-suede synthetic leather. It’s about 4 liters in size and has interior zip pockets, mesh pockets, slip pocket and a top carry handle. The zippers are also waterproof.

Travel Jewelry Case

This cute travel jewelry case is made of leather and keeps your rings, earrings, and necklaces organized. The fabric lining inside this jewelry case absorbs the hostile gases known to cause tarnishing. Under typical storage conditions, it can prevent tarnishing for up to 35 years.

Hanging Jewelry Bag

This travel accessory came in great use on all of Candy’s road trips. We regularly use the Bandolier for our phone, but the Billie Crossbody goes a step further with extra compartments on the strap. It’s made of genuine leather and features three compartments where you can store anything from makeup, cash, sanitizer, and other necessities.
