Colorful Brunch at Pressroom in Bentonville, Arkansas

We were given a complimentary meal for this post, but as always, all opinions are 100% our own.

We arrived at Pressroom first thing Sunday for brunch and were excited to try this hip restaurant located in Bentonville Square. The space is bright and colorful with an industrial-modern atmosphere and the brunch menu had a variety of dishes made with fresh local ingredients.

We sat down and were immediately greeted by our server Jase who was super friendly and suggested a variety of dishes for us. For starters, he suggested one of their specialty latte's, the Honey Vanilla Latte, where their syrups are made in-house. This was such a treat because the in-house syrup gave it a nice touch of sweetness instead of using regular sugar.

Brunch cocktails start serving at 10 AM and since we were there at 9 AM we ordered the non-alcoholic Carrot Mary Cocktail. Wow! This drink was not only tasty but super healthy. It consisted of carrot, orange, apple, celery, lemon, turmeric, and beet.

We were just getting started and were already blown away by their beverage selections. Since we were there for brunch, we decided to go all-out and ordered the Buttermilk Beignets with house-made jam as our starter.

The powered sugar was a little messy, but if it's not messy than it's not a beignet! They were fluffy with a bit of crunch and we definitely recommend adding the jam for an extra $1. I ordered the Avocado Toast with Fried Egg and a bowl of fruit, which was a light and very colorful dish. Crystal ordered the Chicken and Waffles with a unique spicy maple syrup. Every time Crystal and I go to brunch, she will order chicken and waffles if it's on the menu. It's her go-to dish for brunch.

Both dishes were rich in flavor and the spicy maple syrup was the first time Crystal had spice in her syrup. Although Crystal preferred the traditional style maple syrup, the spicy one was delicious and added a nice little kick to the waffles. If you love avocado's you really can't go wrong with the dish I had. The sweet and juicy cherry tomatoes on top of my fried egg were a delightful combination.

As we were finishing our entree, Jase suggested we try one of Pressroom's in-house pastries. We were so stuffed, but when we heard that they were freshly baked in-house we couldn't resist. We had the oatmeal cream pie which was like an oatmeal cookie sandwich. If you are a fan of oatmeal and homemade sweets, then this dessert is a must. It was a very generous portion, so Crystal and I ended up sharing it. We would gladly come here just for some coffee and treats.

The great thing about Pressroom is their seasonal menus. There is always something new and exciting to taste. Their food is on the adventurous side and so far, we have loved everything we ordered from their menu. We can't wait to come back and try out more dishes with the wonderful ambience and attentive staff!
